Firland Workshop is presently hiring a QC
Inspector.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspect aerospace parts manufactured for customers' use to
ensure compliance with customer drawings and specifications. - Perform in-process, first part and final inspections.
Apply basic measuring techniques to measure and analyze all
features on any type of physical mechanical part - Draft accurate first part inspection reports, first article
reports and rejection tags. - Perform First Article Inspections as required
- Ensure inspection and test records are accurately
maintained. - Perform and manage internal quality audits to determine the
effectiveness of the quality system and initiate necessary
corrections.
Qualified individuals must:
- Have a minimum of 3 years related experience in the
aerospace industry. - Have demonstrated ability with basic mechanical inspection
tools such as: calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, surface
plates, indicators, height gauges, protractors, thread
gauges, pin gauges, gauge blocks, radius gauges, scales,
etc. - Be detailed oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Be willing to work overtime as required.
Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102
preferred
Pay for this position is $12.00 to $15.00 per hour. DOE.
